1. About this policy
This Cookie & Analytics Policy explains how Drip & Bake uses browser storage, cookies and analytics technologies on the Drip & Bake website, merchant administration surfaces and storefronts powered by the platform.
2. Essential technology
Drip & Bake may use cookies, local storage or similar browser technologies that are necessary for authentication, security, session management, user preferences, storefront operation and other functionality requested by the user. Blocking essential technologies may prevent account login or parts of the Service from working correctly.
3. Analytics on the Drip & Bake website and on storefronts
Drip & Bake measures traffic to its own website, and to the storefronts it powers, with analytics it built and operates itself. No third-party analytics service receives visitor data. This measurement sets no cookie and stores nothing in the visitor's browser.
Visitors are counted using a code derived from the request (the IP address and browser type) and a random value that is replaced every day and then deleted. The code cannot be traced back to a person and does not link one day's visit to another's, and the IP address itself is not stored. On a storefront the code is also specific to that storefront, so it does not link a visit to one merchant's storefront with a visit to another's. The measurement records the page viewed, the hostname of the referring website, campaign tags on the link followed, and the general type of device, browser and operating system. Full web addresses, names, emails and authentication tokens are not recorded.
On the Drip & Bake website and during merchant sign-up, the measurement also records the visitor's country and region. On a storefront it does not; there it records instead whether the storefront was opened from an app saved to the home screen, and whether the visit led to an order. An order's identifier is kept separately from the visit, for about a day, only so that the same order is not counted twice.
Each merchant sees the totals for its own storefront. Drip & Bake sees the totals for its own website and for each storefront.
4. Advertising and behavioural tracking
Drip & Bake does not use advertising pixels, behavioural advertising trackers or session replay. If such tools or additional analytics platforms are introduced later, this policy and any required consent controls must be updated before deployment. The same applies if Drip & Bake begins recognising returning visitors across days, which would mean storing an identifier in the visitor's browser.
5. Merchant storefront technologies
Merchants may eventually be able to enable their own integrations or technologies. Where a merchant independently determines that a tracking or marketing technology should be used on its storefront, the merchant may have separate obligations to provide notice and obtain consent. Drip & Bake will document platform controls where such features are offered.
6. Managing browser technologies
Users can control many cookies and browser-storage technologies through browser settings. Disabling essential storage may affect login, security, preferences or other functionality.
7. Updates
We may update this policy when our analytics, hosting, integrations or legal obligations change.
